Carta da Terra warns that the Amazon Forest is the most important infrastructure on the continent. See this and other highlights.

The Earth Charter, published this week by Earth News, highlighted the appeal made - during the 77th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) - by António Guterres. The Secretary-General requested that the World Bank and other multilateral financial organizations increase resources allocated to help developing countries achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. According to the publication, the request would be in line with what was discussed on the Earth News Terra program broadcast last Sunday (25), which featured the participation of sociologist Ricardo Abramovay, author of the book “Infrastructure for the Sustainable Development of the Amazon”.
