'Letter from the Earth' talks about the economic potential of a standing Amazon

In Carta da Terra, published this week by Earth News, Lourival Sant'Anna talks about her conversation with forestry engineer Mariano Cenamo, director of New Business at Idesam (Institute for Conservation and Sustainable Development of the Amazon) and CEO of AMAZ, regarding of its work in the development, flow and commercialization of products and services in the Amazon. Cenamo also addresses the issue of carbon credits, as he was one of the pioneers in the matter, in 2003.
