Jorge Paulo Lemann is the richest Brazilian and owner of Havan occupies 10th position, shows Forbes ranking

Forbes released the list of billionaires on Thursday (1). To enter the list of the 10 richest, you must have accumulated more than R$22 billion.

Businessman Jorge Paulo Lemann celebrated his birthday last Friday (26). As a gift, he became the richest man in Brazil, according to the list of billionaires released on Thursday (1st) by Forbes.

The economist created Banco Garantia and invested in companies such as Lojas Americanas and Brahma, in addition to participating in the creation of Ambev. Lemann founded 3G Capital and purchased the fast-food chain Burger King.

Lemann's net worth is US$13,7 billion, ranking 133rd in the world.

In Brazil, second place is occupied by Marcel Hermann Telles, also a partner at 3G Capital. Havan's owner, Luciano Hang, is in tenth place in the Brazilian ranking, with assets of US$4,7 billion.

Worldwide, according to Forbes, there are 2668 billionaires – together, they are worth US$12 trillion. Elon Musk is at the top of the list, with assets of US$219 billion.
