Inflation: IPCA and INPC fall by 0,29% and 0,32%, respectively

This Tuesday (11) the IBGE released the inflation value for the last month and did you know that strawberries were one of the items that saw the biggest decline in September?

Inflation measured by the Broad National Consumer Price Index (IPCA) closed September with a fall of 0,29%, compared to a decline of 0,36% in August, the Brazilian Institute of Geography reported this Tuesday morning (11). and Statistics (IBGE). The accumulated inflation rate for the year was 4,09%, according to IBGE. The accumulated result in 12 months was 7,17%, above the median (7,13%) of analysts' projections, which ranged from 7,01% to 8,67%.

INPC

Nesta terça-feira (11), também foi divulgado o índice Nacional de Preços ao Consumidor (INPC), que mede a variação dos preços para famílias com renda de um a cinco salários mínimos. Segundo o IBGE, o mês de setembro teve uma redução de 0,32% depois da queda de 0,31% em agosto. O INPC acumulou elevação de 4,32% neste ano. A taxa dos 12 meses foi de 7,19%. Em setembro de 2021, o INPC foi de 1,20%.
