What's new

This Friday (16), the president of Fifa, Gianni Infantino, announced the creation of a new Club World Cup, to be played every four years, with 32 teams. The first edition will be in 2025, with the venue yet to be defined.

Furthermore, Fifa announced a record forecast of 11 billion dollars in revenue in its next four-year cycle, in which it will take 48 teams to the 2026 World Cup, specifying that the format of the tournament has not yet been decided.

Busquets' goodbye 🇪🇸

Midfielder Sergio Busquets, world champion in 2010, announced this Friday (16) his retirement from the Spanish national team, after his last participation with the 'Roja' shirt at the World Cup in Qatar.

The authorities will mobilize 14 thousand police officers and guards across France next Sunday (18) for the final of the World cup of Qatar, in which the French team will face Argentina.

Los hermanos 🇦🇷

The Argentines rescued Messi's favorite song and made it the hit of this year World cup. The song “Muchachos” is the most played on streams in the country since the team qualified for the final.

The lyrics make fun of Brazil because of the 2021 Copa América, but also recall their own defeats in football and even the Falklands War.
