It was a great fight for the podium. The Croatians started winning, but the Africans chased the score, drawing 1-1 in the first half. But before the first half of the game ended, Croatia scored a great goal, with no chance for the Moroccan defender.

For Moroccans and Croatians, this Saturday's duel (17) was much more than a third place. The game was seen as a final.
Even with the defeat, Morocco's campaign is already historic. Never had an African team reached this far in the World cup.
The Croatians, current runners-up, repeated what the team did in the 98 World Cup, when they beat the Netherlands and took third place. For coach Zlatko Dalic, that World Cup marked the beginning of a brilliant trajectory for the country. And this Saturday, they made their fans proud once again.
