Tickets for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games go on sale

Ticket sales for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games officially started this Thursday (1st), with the first registrations registered for the draw for packages for three Olympic sessions starting on February 15, 2023.

The site tickets.paris2024.org, available since Thursday morning (1st), recorded the first candidates to secure the coveted tickets. In total, this first phase of sales will make around 3 million of the 10 million tickets available to the public available to the public. Olympic Games.

Those lucky enough to be chosen in the draw, which will end on January 31, 2023, will receive a message with information about the ticket selection process, which should take place from February 15 to March 15.

Members of Club Paris 2024 – around a million people at the moment, according to the organizers – will be able to take advantage of the first four days to choose their tickets, from February 15th to 18th.

All those drawn will have 48 hours to prepare their packages of three Olympic sessions for all sports, except surfing in Tahiti, which will not have ticket sales. There is a limit of six tickets per session and a maximum of 30 tickets.

Almost 80% of the sessions will be for sale. The remaining 20% ​​will be made up of tickets for the most popular finals (such as basketball and 100 meters in athletics). The ticket sales system will be completely digital to avoid fraud as much as possible.

For those who are unlucky at this point, a second phase of sales will begin in May 2023, this time with individual tickets, again by draw. Tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Games will also be on sale during the second phase.

Finally, there will be a final phase of sales to try to guarantee an individual ticket at the end of 2023.
