'Deal closed' for Messi to play in Saudi Arabia, says person close to negotiations

Argentine star Lionel Messi, a Paris Saint-Germain player, will play in Saudi Arabia next season, a Saudi source close to the negotiations told AFP on Tuesday (9), who called the contract "huge".

“There is an agreement reached, he will play in Saudi Arabia,” said the source, who requested anonymity, regarding the Argentine player’s transfer to the wealthy Gulf kingdom. When being questioned by AFP this Tuesday, the Parisian club limited itself to remembering that Messi has a contract until June 30th.
