5 years without Marielle Franco
“I am not free as long as another woman is a prisoner, even if her chains are different from mine.”, said Marielle Franco, thirty minutes before she was murdered, on March 14, 2018. The words were borrowed from the American Audre Lorde, activist for the rights of women, black people and homosexuals. Afterwards, she said goodbye with the phrase “Let's go together and occupy everything”, at the end of the Jovens Negras Moving as Estruturas event. The question “who ordered the murder of Marielle and Anderson?” has not yet been answered. (Brazil Agency)
