Chaos, mud and rain: REP Festival has its second day canceled

During the storm that hit on Saturday (11), in Rio de Janeiro, the scene of the biggest rap and trap festival in the country became a scene of horror for thousands of people waiting for the REP festival. The second day of presentations had to be cancelled.

Artists complained of shocks in the sound equipment and the public managed to see snakes in the mud.

The chaos of the festival took over social media, the event was made up of three stages and on the third, and smallest stage, the shows were canceled on the first day as mud prevented access to the venue.

REP organization publishes note canceling the event:

“The production of REP Festival informs that due to the damage caused to the event structure by the heavy rains that hit Rio de Janeiro in the last two days, the second day of the festival will be cancelled. The organization's decision is made with the safety and mobility of the public, artists and technical and operational team in mind”, informed the event organizer, in a note published on social media.
