CNT/MDA survey: Lula leads with 48,3% of the votes; Bolsonaro has 39,7%

Former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) remains the leader in the dispute for the Palácio do Planalto, according to a CNT/MDA survey released this Saturday (1). The survey shows the PT member with 48,3% of valid voting intentions, followed by President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) with 39,7%.

Ciro Gomes (PDT) has 4,9% of preference, followed by senator Simone Tebet (MDB) with 4,7%. Other candidates total 2,3%.

According to the survey, around 88,1% of respondents declare that the voting option is definitive. The other 11,9% admit the possibility of changing their mind by election day.

Among the candidates, Bolsonaro and Lula are the ones with the most voter loyalty. Respectively, 92,2% and 91,8%. For 64,4% of Ciro's voters, their vote is already decided on the pedetista; the same percentage is for Tebet voters.

The survey consulted 2.002 voters, in person, between October 28th and 30th. The margin of error is 2,2 percentage points. The confidence level of the survey is 95%. O registration code at the Electoral Court is BR 02944/2022.
