Creator of the manga 'Yu-Gi-Oh!' is found dead in Japan

The body of Japanese author Kazuki Takahashi, 60, was found floating in the sea. The discovery was made by the Japan Coast Guard in Okinawa, in the south of the country, last Wednesday (6).

His death is suspected to have been a diving accident, as Takanashi was found wearing diving goggles, a snorkel and fins.

Kazuki Takahashi is the author and illustrator of 'Yu-Gi-Oh', a series that tells the story of Yugi, a teenager who receives as a gift a puzzle containing the spirit of an Egyptian pharaoh who takes over the young man's body. 

The series was initially published in a Japanese manga magazine between 1996 and 2004. The production was so successful around the world that it ended up inspiring films, magazines and card games on the same theme.
