Without mentioning Jair Bolsonaro and his supporters, the president-elect emphasized the courage of members of the country's judiciary – TSE (Superior Electoral Court) and STF (Supreme Federal Court) – who faced “all types of offenses” during the electoral process, by “enemies of democracy” who tried to discredit institutions and uranas.

The president of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) harshly condemned the attacks on democracia made throughout the electoral process, made an appeal for the pacification of the country and said that Lula will govern for more than 215 million Brazilians from January 1st.

“Mr President-elect, political activity must be carried out without hatred, without discrimination and without violence. The consequence of hate and violence is emptiness and hurt,” he said.

“This ends another democratic cycle with respect for popular sovereignty and the Constitution and with its end, electoral passions must be replaced by a respectful clash of ideas”, highlighted the minister.
