BTG/FSB survey: difference between Lula and Bolsonaro drops from 8 to 6 points

Former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) remains in the lead, with 41% of voting intentions. Jair Bolsonaro (PL) has 35%. The BTG/FSB survey released this Monday (12) shows a decrease from 8 to 6 percentage points in the PT member's advantage over the current president, compared to the last survey, carried out a week ago.

Candidate Ciro Gomes (PDT) and Simone Tebet (MDB) tied within the margin of error. Check out the newest survey by FBS Pesquisa and Banco BTG Pactual in full at this link.

The survey interviewed 2 voters by telephone between the 9th and 11th of September and was contracted by the bank BTG Pactual. A margin of error is 2 percentage points, plus or minus. Registration with the Electoral Court is BR-06321/2022.

1st shift

Check the percentage of voting intentions of each candidate for the first round of the presidential elections:

  • Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT): 41% (-1 pp compared to the previous survey)
  • Jair Bolsonaro (PL): 35% (+1 pp compared to the previous survey)
  • Ciro Gomes (PDT): 9% (+1 pp compared to the previous survey)
  • Simone Tebet (MDB): 7% (+1 pp compared to the previous survey)
  • Felipe D'Ávila (New): 1% (did not score in the previous survey)
  • Soraya Thronicke (União Brasil): 1% (maintained the percentage from the previous survey)

The other presidential candidates had, together, 1% of the votes. They are: José Maria Eymael (DC), Vera Lúcia (PSTU), Sofia Manzano (PCB) and Leonardo Péricles (UP).

Lula and Bolsonaro

In the simulation, registered voting intentions would be 51% for Lula and 38% for Bolsonaro. In the last poll, the PT member would win by 53% to 40%.

Lula and Ciro

If the final dispute were decided between the former president and the PED, Ciro Gomes would win 46% to 35%, the same score as in the last FSB survey.

Lula and Tebet

In the fight with Senator Simone Tebet, Lula would win by 48% against 34%.

Ciro and Bolsonaro

In this case, Ciro would have an advantage, winning 50% to 38%.

Tebet would take the dispute by 48% to 40%.

Rejection and evaluation

Lula's rejection rose 1 percentage point, reaching 47%. Bolsonaro had 1 percentage point less rejection, falling to 55%. Tebet and Ciro had, respectively, 48% and 40%.

The government of current president Jair Bolsonaro was evaluated as 'excellent/good' by 34% of respondents, 1 point above of the last recorded rate. Those who rate it as 'regular' rose from 19% to 20% and those who rate it as 'regular' rose from XNUMX% to XNUMX% and those who rate it as as 'bad/terrible' fell from 46% to 44%.
