Voting times will be the same throughout Brazil

The Superior Electoral Court (TSE), for the first time, standardized voting times throughout Brazil. Election sessions will open at 8am and close at 17pm Brasília time.

The other States, in the North and Southeast, will have to adapt to the new rule. These are the cases of Amazonas, Acre and Fernando de Noronha. Anyone queuing up at polling stations at closing time will receive a ticket to vote.
