In the process, the agency demands that the police “analyze the video recordings” made during the game so that they “identify the people who uttered racist insults and, if applicable, inform whether these people have any type of relationship with violent groups, or with movements of extremist ideology”.
According to the Public Ministry, the investigation should also determine “whether more episodes of racist connotation were repeated inside the stadium” against the player. To do this, request all available information from the club's security services, as well as the match summary.

Before the Brazilian team's match against Ghana – this Friday afternoon (23) – the Twitter profile Vinícius Júnior Portal reported on a tribute paid to the player who was a victim of racism:

Understand the case
During the derby between Real Madrid and Atlético, some of the latter's fans shouted racist insults at Vinícius before and during the match. Furthermore, several objects, such as lighters, were thrown towards the attacker and fellow Brazilian Rodrygo.
Later, LaLiga announced that it would report the incident to the Spanish Football Federation's disciplinary commission. The directors of Atlético de Madrid opted for silence, until the president of the Spanish government, Pedro Sánchez, called, on Tuesday (20), for reactions against racism.
"I expect a strong message from clubs against this type of behavior. This is what I ask of my team“, said Sánchez, after defining himself as “a big fan of Atlético de Madrid”.

Hours later, the club condemned the “inadmissible chants” made by a “minority of fans”.
The controversy surrounding Vinícius' celebrations escalated last week, following criticism from the president of the Spanish Association of Football Players' Agents (AEAF), Pedro Bravo, on the television program El Chiringuito, when he stated: “you have to respect your professional colleagues and stop playing monkeys.”
