IPEC: Lula fluctuates upwards with 47%, and Bolsonaro remains at 31%

Ipec research, commissioned by TV Globo and released this Monday (19), shows that former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) maintains the lead with 47% of voting intentions, an increase of 1 point in relation to the previous survey. President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) remained stable, with 31%.

The result indicates a scenario of stability in the dispute, points out the institute. Lula (PT) continues to lead, fluctuating positively from 46% to 47%, in relation to the last survey (September 12).

In second place is President Bolsonaro (PL), who remained stable, with 31% of the electorate's preference.

Ipec interviewed 3.008 people between September 17th and 18th in 181 municipalities. The margin of error is plus or minus two percentage points.

The research was registered with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under the protocol BR-00073/2022.

Other candidates

Ciro Gomes (PDT) comes next, with 7% of intentions, the same rate as the previous survey. Simone Tebet (MDB) had 4% and now has 5%.

Soraya Thronicke (União Brasil) remained with 1%. The other presidential candidates did not reach 1% of voting intentions.
