Ipespe/Abrapel: Lula has 44%, Bolsonaro 36%

The Ipespe survey on the presidential dispute, released this Saturday (10), shows that former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) has 44% of voting intentions in the first round of the October elections and president Jair Bolsonaro (PL ) 36%.

In relation to the previous survey, released on September 3, Bolsonaro fluctuated 1 percentage point upwards, within the margin of error. Lula maintained the same index.

Other candidates

The PDT candidate, Ciro Gomes, has 8% of voting intentions. Simon Tebet (MDB) comes next, with 5%. In relation to the previous survey, Ciro fluctuated 1 percentage point downwards, and Tebet remained stable.

The survey consulted 1.100 voters across the country, by telephone, between the 7th and 9th of September. The margin of error is plus or minus 3 percentage points. The research is registered under the number BR-07606/2022 at the Superior Electoral Court. The survey was contracted by the Brazilian Association of Electoral Researchers (Abrapel).
