Lula has 53% of valid voting intentions and Bolsonaro has 47%, says Atlas

Atlas research, released this Monday (24), points to a victory for Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) if the elections were held today, with 53% of valid votes. Bolsonaro would be in second place with 47% of voting intentions. According to the survey, Lula increased his advantage by 1,2 percentage points according to the institute's latest survey, on October 12.

The PT member had 51,1% of the total votes and 52,4% of the valid votes in the last survey, with results collected until 12/10. In the new survey, Lula grew 0,9 percentage points, reaching 52% of total votes and 53% of valid votes.

Jair Bolsonaro, on the other hand, had 46,5% of the total votes and 47,6% of the valid votes. The current president fell by 0,3 percentage points in total votes and now has 47% of valid votes.

The research collected 4.500 interviews via questionstructured on the web, in 1.404 municipalities, between the 18th and 22nd of October and is registered with the TSE under number BR-06415/2022.
