Post by candidate who 'canceled' schedule because of the queen's death is fake, says advisor

A false post attributed to a candidate from Rio Grande do Norte (state deputy) went viral on social media. Fake news says that the politician canceled his campaign schedule in mourning for the death of British sovereign Elizabeth.

An internet publication with a “note of condolence” about the death of the sovereign of the United Kingdom is circulating on the internet linked to a candidate for the Legislative Assembly of Rio Grande do Norte. Why did the post go viral? It would be the alleged candidate's argument for canceling the campaign agenda here in Brazil because of the death of Queen Elizabeth II, there in Europe. It would be comical if it weren't a LIE!

The advice of the candidate for state deputy Jadson (Solidarity) informed the UOL portal that the montage is nothing more than “fake news” and “desperation of opponents”.

“This is fake news. The untrue information spread on social media shows the desperation of opponents with the campaign of the candidate for state deputy Jadson, who appears in first place in the party throughout the state”, informed the candidate's campaign in a note sent to UOL.
