Voting is mandatory for people over 18 years old and optional for illiterate people, people over 70 years old and people aged 16 and 17.

Voting will take place from 8am to 17pm (Brasília time). In some states, with a difference in time zone, adjustments will be made.
📃 Documents
To vote, you only need to present an official identification document with a photo. The options include: identity card, National Driving License (CNH), passport, reservist certificate, work card or other legal document with photo. Presenting your voter registration card is not mandatory. It is also possible to vote with the digital version of the title, obtained from e-Título, a free Electoral Justice app, if your photo already appears there.
📱 How to download the e-Título
The voter must already have a registration with the Electoral Court to release the digital title, which can be accessed at any time. With it, the voter can also consult the voting location (zone and polling station) and justify their absence. The application can be downloaded today (01) on IOS and Android platforms. Issuance will not be possible on voting days, that is, October 2nd and 30th. Anyone who already has the application should check if it is updated.

This year, you will vote for the following positions in this order:
- federal deputy – 4 digits
- state or district deputy (Federal District) – 5 digits
- senator – 3 digits
- governor – 2 digits
- President of the Republic – 2 digits.
Here, it is worth denying a fake news: If you want, you can choose to vote only for president. The vote is not invalidated if the voter votes for a single position and chooses to cancel or vote blank for the others.
🗳️ Caption vote
For federal and state (or district) deputy positions, voters can only vote for the party. In this case, simply enter the first two numbers corresponding to the preferred party and press the “confirm” key twice. The more votes the party receives, the more seats it will have in the legislative houses.

Cell phones are not allowed in the voting booth. That's why it's important to take a sheet of paper, as there are a lot of numbers to remember.

🏫 Where to vote
Check your polling station today so you don't go to the wrong place. You can do this in three ways: through the e-Título application, through the TSE Portal or through the Court's Questions Answering app on WhatsApp. Just send a “hi” to the number +55 61 996371078 or link https://wa.me/556196371078.

It is prohibited to enter the voting booth with it or with a camera, camcorder, etc. The objective is to guarantee the secrecy of the vote.
🗳️ In the cabin
From these elections onwards, voters will have extra time to check and, if necessary, correct their vote, before confirming. After registering the candidate's number, the message “check your vote” will appear. When the text stops flashing, the voter can press “Confirm” or “Correct”. After confirmation, the ballot box will emit a short sound. Only at the end of the entire vote will the voter hear that famous longer noise – the “pilili” – and the word “END” will appear.
📃 Proof of voting
It is not the receipt that guarantees that the voter voted, but rather the ballot box software. The receipt is just a receipt for the voter and the poll workers deliver it at the end of voting.

🖊️ Signature in the voting book
Anyone who has already registered biometrics will be exempt from signing the voting book. Otherwise, signature is required.
❓ How to justify
The justification is mandatory and can be made on election day, at voting time, or within 60 days after each round. It can be done through the application or through a form that can be downloaded from the TSE website.
