Netflix announces return of 'Bom Dia, Verônica' for August

Almost two years after the premiere of the first season, the series 'Bom Dia, Verônica' already has a date to return with new episodes: August 3rd. The Netflix production is based on a book by writer Raphael Montes with criminologist Ilana Casoy.

The official trailer for the second season was released this Thursday morning (7) on Netflix Brasil's Twitter profile. The images once again feature the protagonist Verônica, played by Tainá Müller, as well as new characters for the plot. In the new episodes, the highlight is the debut of Reynaldo Gianecchini and Klara Castanho.

The first season of 'Bom Dia, Verônica' follows the investigation of police officer Verônica Torres, who uncovers a corruption scheme on the part of a couple. Now, in the new season, the series promedelve deeper into Verô's search for the truth, which involves the mysterious connection between an orphanage and a pastor respected by the community.

While waiting for the new episodes, it's worth marathoning the first season and being entertained by the mysteries of the series that was a hit in Brazil – both due to the engaging plot and the spectacular performance of Camila Morgado and Eduardo Moscovis. In addition to the suspense, be warned: the series may contain triggers for victims of domestic violence.
