PSG loses more than 2 million followers on Instagram after Messi leaves

Paris Saint-Germain lost more than two million followers on Instagram after Lionel Messi's departure, while the Argentine star's new club, Inter Miami, gained more than three million followers.

According to data from the insTrach tool, the number of PSG followers fell from 69,9 million before Messi's last game with the club's shirt, last week (3-2 defeat to Clermont), to 67,8 million this year. Thursday (8). In the same period, Inter Miami experienced a reverse phenomenon, going from one million followers to 4,8 million.

The Argentine's personal account is one of the most popular on the social network, with 469 million followers.

Messi announced on Wednesday his move to Inter Miami, after two seasons at PSG, where he acknowledged that he “wasn’t happy”.
