Surface, in Apple TV+, divides opinions; Is it worth watching?

Some series have the incredible ability to keep the viewer increasingly intrigued throughout the episodes. Some say that one of them is Surface, which debuted at Apple TV+ at the end of July. O Curto tells you the synopsis and other production details.

What is the plot of Surface?

In the first episode, we are introduced to Sophie (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), a woman who lost her memory after attempting suicide by jumping from a boat. Months after the incident, she begins to doubt everyone around her – including her husband, James (Oliver Jackson-Cohen), with whom she lives in San Francisco.

Surface it has eight episodes – three premiered on July 29th; the following entered the streaming service weekly. There is still no confirmation about a possible second season.

Actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw has been in several television and film productions, most notably the San Junipero episode of the series Black Mirror, from Netflix. The performance was highly praised. Most recently, she played Hannah Shoenfeld in The Morning Show (Apple TV +) and Ravonna Renslayer in the series Loki (Disney +).

Oliver Jackson-Cohen is known for playing Luke Crain in the series The Curse of the Hill Residence and Peter Quint in The Curse of Bly Mansion, both from Netflix. He is also notable for the film The invisible man.
