Ranking

In the ranking, Titanic is second only to “Avatar” (2009) and “Avengers: Endgame” (2019), but it is almost losing its position to the film “Avatar: The Path of Water” (2022). With the re-release it is possible that the films will distance themselves a little further in this ranking, since the number of Titanic can go up.

The top of the list of greatest hits is not very diverse, since of the four highest grossing films, three productions, Avatar (2009), Titanic (1997) and Avatar: The Way of Water (2022), are by the same director, James Cameron.
