See what happened in the 4 days of CCXP

Actor Keanu Reeves was the big attraction at this year's CCXP, and he could feel the heat from Brazilian fans in double doses, as he was at the event to promote two products. The film John Wick 4: Baba Yaga, directed by Chad Stahelski, is scheduled to premiere on March 23, 2023. Another of his products are the BRZRKR comics, which he created and wrote with Matt Kindt and whose covers were created by the Brazilian Rafael Grampá, who also collaborated on character design with Ron Garney.

Reeves is known for his role in The Matrix and now John Wick, but he has also worked with several acclaimed directors such as Francis Ford Coppola (Bram Stoker's Dracula) and Gus Van Sant (Host Boys).

The star was embarrassed by the public's display of love, but told the Estadão that “it was very special” and that “the people here are very nice and generous”. “It's really cool that they like John Wick here. I'm really grateful. CCXP is legendary, but it went beyond what I imagined,” he said. The actor also said that he didn't have much time to explore the city. “I saw the airport, the hotel and went to CCXP. That's it."
