Golden Globes returns to NBC after allegations of lack of diversity

Responsible for choosing the best film and television professionals, the Golden Globes will return to the NBC channel, after a one-year hiatus. The award was removed from the grid after being the target of harsh criticism for the lack of diversity on the board - which was reflected in the nominees and winners of the categories.

At the time of the accusations, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), responsible for preparing the Golden Globes, stated that it would carry out internal reform to eradicate corruption and increase diversity. (The Wrap)
