Brazil has a game broadcast within the metaverse

This Thursday (24), the first game of the Brazilian team in the 2022 World Cup took place and a new factor in football broadcasts was highlighted: the Spatial virtual environment brought together more than three hundred people within the metaverse to watch Brazil and Serbia, rebroadcast from Casemiro Miguel's networks. The influencer and journalist holds the rights to broadcast live matches from the competition, including from Brazil. Newsverso followed the broadcast. Check out!

For the event organizer, this was the first broadcast of a Brazilian game in the virtual environment

Within Spatial, the user can interact with other people and check out what the space offers, such as the shirts worn by the team in World Cups and even the cups won.

The objective of the broadcast is to popularize the metaverse

We spoke with the host of the environment, publicist Igor Suhet. He is a representative of the Figtal.io Agency, responsible for broadcasting on the app, and said that the objective of broadcasting the Brazilian game on Spatial is “to popularize the metaverse and show that it is possible to do anything in the environment”.

“As the Brazilian team’s games are watched throughout Brazil, the agency took advantage of the World Cup to test the possibilities.”
