Discover Metavertu: smartphone that transforms images into NFTs can cost more than R$200

The concepts behind web3.0 are somewhat complex for most of the population. Metaverse, NFTs, Cryptocurrencies, everything is very new as technology advances. With the aim of simplifying access to these resources and advancing the digital shift, a smartphone called Metavertu was launched, which has features that encourage access to web3.0 with just a few taps. Have you ever imagined touching your photo and turning it into an NFT?

The model aims to make it easier for people to enter the new era of the web, but the more affordable model costs R$18

Despite the bold proposal, the price is still out of the question for most people. With the entry-level model costing an incredible R$18.667,00, it won't be so simple to have web3 resources in the palm of your hand. Despite the high price, the technical characteristics of the device are enough to put many machines to shame.

Focusing on the wealthy, Metavertu has powerful features

Focused on high-end clientele, who don't mind paying a few million for NFT arts, the Metavertu aims at performance in this new moment on the web. The screen, for example, is made of sapphire glass, powered by a Qualcomm SnapDragon 8 Gen 1 CPU. The device also has a set of cameras with three lenses and a 4.600 mAh battery.

Being able to switch between web2.0 and web3.0, Metavertu makes it possible to create a cryptoasset wallet in an uncomplicated manner and with its own security called a trusted execution environment (TEE). Access to the metaverse, which was used for the pun on the name, is also facilitated with a set of applications that interact with each other. In an application called Vshot, the user can transform their photo or video into a Non-Fungible Token (NFT).

Understand: What is NFT?

More than 200 thousand Metavertu reservations have already been made since pre-sale

During the product launch in October, Vertu CEO Gary Chan also announced a premium service for customers who purchase smartphones. According to him, “We have a special NFT investment team to help our users better understand NFTs quickly.”

You must be wondering, the smartphone comes to try to simplify immersion in web3.0, but at absurd prices, with models that can exceed R$212 thousand, who will be interested in buying it?

According to the manufacturer, which is based in Hong Kong, more than 200 thousand reservations, since pre-sales, have already been made around the world. And, according to the company, 40% of buyers paid the full value of the equipment.
