In the initial phase of development, the mall will offer attractions and stores from Carrefour, VOX Cinemas and Samsung Store. The launch is part of the movement to attract audiences using metaverse resources. In short, it will be a virtual reality environment to explore leisure experiences, retail and entertainment offerings.

Fátima Zada, director of Majid Al Futtaim Shopping Malls, the company behind the launch, says that the initiative came about after observing consumer trends around the world and in the United Arab Emirates.
“We work to leverage science and behavioral data to give customers what they want and want. Our quick observations of consumers, followed by an action plan and a series of testing steps, have now led to a complete project that is one step ahead of online shopping”, says the director.
Dubai has a metaverse strategy that wants to create 40 virtual jobs and add 4 billion dollars to its economy over the next five years.
