G7: Taliban treatment of women could be a 'crime against humanity'

“Gender persecution can constitute a crime against humanity, according to the Rome Statute, of which the Afeganistão is part of it,” the foreign ministers said in a statement, referring to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.
