Discover ancient Egypt with the help of the metaverse

With virtual reality, many things become possible, but have you ever thought about being able to go back in time and take a closer look at part of the history of humanity? Well, maybe a spoiler for this is already possible. A creative hub of designers called TUTERA recently launched a virtual environment on Spatial that features the first Egyptian city in a virtual world. Check out the tour that Newsverso took in ancient Egypt.

Launching in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the discovery of the youngest Egyptian pharaoh, the city presents historical information about ancient Egypt. Entitled “Avenue of Kings”, the space allows direct public interaction with history. In the video you can see that we even visited a tomb.

According to the community TUTERA, the initiative is a “contemporary intellectual trend that seeks to restore Egypt’s glory and draw international attention to the country”.

Celebrating the history of Egypt is one of the objectives of the virtual environment

According to the community, this is only the first release focusing on Egyptian history. By the end of 2022, some other spaces will be made available. Newsverso, of course, will keep an eye on it.

The space can be visited free of charge by one computer, smartphone or virtual reality glasses.
