A research done by CoinKickoff collected 1,6 million tweets that mentioned: 

“metaverse is”, “the metaverse”, “metaverse is”, “the metaverses” in different languages. With this, the company analyzed how many positive mentions were made of the metaverse, and who repudiated it. 

Which country is most excited about the metaverse?

Vietnam was the country with the most positive opinions regarding the metaverse, with 56,8% of comments supporting the metaverse within Twitter. At the other end of the ranking is Ireland, which had the highest number of negative mentions of the metaverse, 14,4% of tweets were criticizing virtual worlds. 

According to Twitter analysis, Asian countries are more adept at the metaverse. Complete the ranking of positive mentions: Philippines, Indonesia, followed by Ukraine and Nigeria. On the other side, the people most resistant to the metaverse concept are in Denmark, New Zealand, the United States and Canada. 

Brazil, like most Western countries, appears on the side of those who most criticize the metaverse. The country ranks seventh with 10,4% of negative mentions of technology.
