The Sandbox announces partnership with Dragon Ball studio

The Sandbox, one of the most popular metaverses today, announced on Thursday (16) another partnership to try to attract animation fans into the environment. Now the platform has announced the arrival of Toei Animation and Minto Inc into the virtual environment. The Japanese studio is known worldwide for producing 'Dragon Ball' and 'One Piece', popular cartoons around the world.

In addition to bringing characters into the metaverse, The Sandbox also announced a collection of limited NFTs for the first thousand users to sign up for the experience. Although the tokens have not been launched yet, the platform announced that they will not be based on any existing Toei content.

The managing director of the Japanese animation studio, Satoshi Shinohara, says that “Toei Animation is now ready to sail this new ocean. We are very happy and proud to work with The Sandbox and Minto as our partners. I am confident that the “Fleet” we have assembled will be able to discover new continents and new routes that will guide the entertainment industry for years to come.”

Sandbox has made numerous partnerships to try and expand its user base. In addition to the Japanese studio, the metaverse has already brought to its virtual environment a production company manga, famous brands of the fashion world and has stimulated challenges and rewarded the most creative players.
