In addition to bringing characters into the metaverse, The Sandbox also announced a collection of limited NFTs for the first thousand users to sign up for the experience. Although the tokens have not been launched yet, the platform announced that they will not be based on any existing Toei content.

The managing director of the Japanese animation studio, Satoshi Shinohara, says that “Toei Animation is now ready to sail this new ocean. Sandbox has made numerous partnerships to try and expand its user base. In addition to the Japanese studio, the metaverse has already brought to its virtual environment a production company manga, famous brands of the fashion world and has stimulated challenges and rewarded the most creative players.
