Tommy Hilfiger presents fashion experience for the metaverse

Luxury brand Tommy Hilfiger has launched, in partnership with 3D technology and VR platform provider Emperia, a new cross-metaverse virtual hub. The proposal is part of a series of strategies for Metaverse Fashion Week 2023. The initiative brings together popular metaverses such as Decentraland, Roblox and Spatial, as well as companies focused on spatialization, such as the DressX and Ready Player Me metaverses.

Between March 28th and 31st, Tommy Hilfiger will maintain a space within Decentraland that connects to all of these other platforms, allowing users to access the brand in different locations.

O technology from Tommy in the metaverses brings NFT collections and works in the format of virtual clothing. A competition also takes place stimulated by the company. Users can participate in a competition to create fashion with artificial intelligence. Visitors' avatars can also take photos with the pieces in a special booth in the metaverse.

The virtual hub enhances the product experience by providing four exclusive items, with the iconic Varsity jacket as the centerpiece, displayed in different aesthetic forms across all platforms. The jacket is available in two versions: physical, linked to Tommy Hilfiger's e-commerce platform, and digital, linked to DressX's digital fashion platform.

Anyone interested in any piece from the brand can purchase it physically or digitally. Physically, the user can place their order through Emperia. Digitally, the look is available on the Ready Player Me platform. This platform allows people to use their customized avatars in different metaverse environments.
