Felipe Neto calls government supporters “desperate” and posts video of Bolsonaro calling Lula honest

After declaring his vote for former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), YouTuber and businessman Felipe Neto became the target of Bolsonaro supporters. The influencer had old videos shared in which he spoke badly about Lula, Dilma and, mainly, the Workers' Party. Felipe retaliated with a video of Bolsonaro calling Lula honest.

“The Bolsonarist hate machine is in full swing with me”, he begins. Afterwards, he explains that he never hid that he hated the PT leader, until 2017. “I used a lot of insults, a lot of insults towards Lula, the PT and Dilma, and they never persecuted me for it”.

However, although he does not declare himself as a PT member, the influencer changed his position after studying what happened during Operation Lava-Jato, which resulted in the impeachment of Dilma Rousseff and the arrest of Lula.

On Twitter, it is possible to find several posts in which Bolsonaro supporters use the YouTuber's videos to attack him. One of the publications was made by Carlos Bolsonaro, the president's son.

On Tuesday (30), after criticism from Bolsonaro supporters for changing his opinion, Felipe Neto rescued an old video in which Bolsonaro declared his vote for Lula in the second round of elections against Fernando Henrique Cardoso (PSDB).

“I see him as an honest person,” Bolsonaro said in the video.
