Ukrainian resistance

Recently, Zelensky expressed concern about the possibility of the Russians intensifying attacks in the midst of the country's independence week. APublic celebrations in Ukraine were banned by the president, and the United States (US) asked all Americans to leave the country under the same warning.

In Kviv, the Ukrainian leader received “Ukraine's great friend” Boris Johnson, this Wednesday (3), a supporter of the resistance against Russia. Zelensky confirmed the arrival of the British Prime Minister. Johnson resigned as prime minister but remains until a replacement is appointed by the English parliament. According to Zelensky, Johnson is one of the public figures closest to him, with whom he exchanges daily messages on Telegram.

Resignation in the midst of catastrophe

After half a year of not being able to sleep at night due to the attacks, Ukrainian Eva Goudzon, 35, says that “we got terribly used to it”. Eva is one of the residents of Mykolaiv, a city in southern Ukraine, whose drinking water pipes were hit by military actions. There, the bombings have not stopped since March, and siren signals have become part of the daily life of the population, who resist the destruction of the city caused by the explosions.
