Joint research by experts from MIT and Stanford found that generative artificial intelligence can increase productivity by up to 35% and reduce the time employees spend on tasks by up to 14%.

O study evaluated the performance of entry-level and low-skilled employees working with AI and showed that, in automatable tasks, AI can help inexperienced employees achieve productivity goals.

However, in more advanced tasks, AI has had minimal impact and most of them are still better suited to experienced humans. Still, AI technology has the potential to bring enormous benefits to companies, enabling increases in production and cost savings, as well as freeing up valuable time and resources for other tasks. 

Research suggests that AI may have a promising future in increasing productivity, especially among those with no or entry-level experience, but it is important to remember that human experience and understanding of the task at hand should not be left aside.
