Ipec: Lula has 51% of valid votes, Bolsonaro has 37%

The latest Ipec (formerly Ibope) poll of voting intentions shows PT member Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva with 51% of valid votes against 37% for Jair Bolsonaro (PL), for the first round.

The latest Ipec survey, commissioned by TV Globo before the first round of the presidential elections shows that former president Lula remains in the 50% range of valid votes (51%), fluctuating one percentage point lower in relation to the previous survey.

Bolsonaro remains in second place, fluctuating 3 percentage points down (37%).

Other candidates

Ciro Gomes (PDT) has 5%, with a fluctuation of 1, tied with Simone Tebet (MDB) who has 5%.

Soraya Thronicke (União Brasil) appears with 1%, as does Felipe d'Avila (Novo), 1%.

3008 people were interviewed, between September 29th and October 1st, in 183 municipalities. The survey was registered with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) with the number BR-00999/2022.
