Ipec: Lula fluctuates upwards with 46%, Bolsonaro remains stable with 31%

Ipec research, commissioned by TV Globo, shows that former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) maintains the lead with 46% of voting intentions, an increase of 2 points in relation to the previous survey. President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) remained stable, with 31%.

The result indicates a scenario of stability in the dispute, points out the institute. Lula (PT) continues to lead, fluctuating positively from 44% to 46%, in relation to the last survey (September 5).

In second place is President Bolsonaro (PL), who remained stable, with 31% of the electorate's preference.

The survey was carried out between September 9th and 11th with a margin of error of plus or minus 2 points. Ipec interviewed 2.512 people between September 9th and 11th in 158 municipalities.

The research was registered with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under the protocol BR-01390/2022.

Other candidates

Ciro Gomes (PDT) comes next, with 7% of intentions. In the previous survey, it had 8%, showing fluctuation within the margin of error. Simone Tebet (MDB) remained at 4%, the same percentage as last week.

Felipe d'Avila (Novo) and Soraya Thronicke (União Brasil) remained at 1%. The other presidential candidates did not reach 1% of voting intentions.
