Inflation: IPCA and INPC fall by 0,29% and 0,32%, respectively

This Tuesday (11) the IBGE released the inflation value for the last month and did you know that strawberries were one of the items that saw the biggest decline in September?

Inflation measured by the Broad National Consumer Price Index (IPCA) closed September with a fall of 0,29%, compared to a decline of 0,36% in August, the Brazilian Institute of Geography reported this Tuesday morning (11). and Statistics (IBGE). The accumulated inflation rate for the year was 4,09%, according to IBGE. The accumulated result in 12 months was 7,17%, above the median (7,13%) of analysts' projections, which ranged from 7,01% to 8,67%.

INPC

This Tuesday (11), the National Consumer Price Index (INPC) was also released, which measures price variation for families with incomes of one to five minimum wages. According to IBGE, the month of September saw a reduction of 0,32% after a drop of 0,31% in August. The INPC accumulated an increase of 4,32% this year. The 12-month rate was 7,19%. In September 2021, the INPC was 1,20%.
