Datafolha: Lula fluctuates upwards with 47%, Bolsonaro remains stable with 33%

New Datafolha research, commissioned by Jornal Folha de S.Paulo and TV Globo, released this Thursday (22), shows Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) in the lead in voting intentions with 47%, a fluctuation of two percentage points up. In second place, Jair Bolsonaro (PL) appears with 33%, stable.

Second o Datafolha, Lula (PT) opened a 14 percentage point gap to Bolsonaro. In the last survey carried out by the institute, the PT member had 45% and now fluctuates to 47%, within the margin of error. Bolsonaro parked, maintaining 33% of voting intentions, which he presented last week.

With the fluctuation, Lula is once again approaching 50% of valid votes, which would give him – according to the rules of the Superior Court of Justice – a possible victory in the first round.

Too many candidates, blank and null

Ciro Gomes (PDT) remains in third place in voting intentions, with 8%, followed by Simone Tebet (MDB) with 5%. 

Considering the margin of error of two percentage points plus and minus, Ciro and Tebet are technically tied.

Soraya Thronicke fluctuated from 2% to 1%. 

Blank and invalid votes reached 6%. They don't know who to vote for, the 1%

research data

The survey was carried out between Tuesday (20) and this Thursday (22). The institute interviewed 6.754 people in 343 cities. The survey is registered with the Superior Electoral Court under number BR-04180/2022 .
