Genial/Quaest Survey: In the 2nd round, Lula has 48%; Bolsonaro gets 41%

Genial/Quaest research on the presidential dispute released this Thursday (6) shows former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) with 48% of voting intentions in the second round, followed by president Jair Bolsonaro (PL), with 41%.

The survey, carried out with face-to-face interviews and hired by Genial Investimentos, shows the former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) in the lead, with 48% of voting intentions in the stimulated scenario, when voters receive a list with the names of the candidates. The president and candidate for re-election, Jair Bolsonaro (PL), totaled 41%.

The institute interviewed 2 people in person between the 3rd and 5th of October. The confidence level, according to the institute, is 95%. The survey was registered in the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under protocol BR-07940/2022.
