In China, it is not just user privacy that is being discussed
On the other side of the world, China has drawn up a set of rules to regulate generative AI services. Chinese regulators have stated that these services must align with Chinese socialist values and avoid producing content that promotes regime subversion, violence, pornography or disrupts the social and economic order. Providers must ensure data legitimacy and avoid discrimination during algorithm design and training. Additionally, generative AI service providers must undergo security assessments before launching their products.
