Kiev is target of drone attack

Russian forces carried out a large-scale drone attack against Kiev and other regions during the night, Ukrainian authorities announced on Tuesday (20), who reported no casualties.

“New large-scale air attack on the capital,” Kiev’s military administration said in a statement posted on Telegram. The note also reported that 18 days ago the Russians did not use Iranian-made Shahed explosive drones to target the city.

“Following the usual tactics for large-scale UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) attacks, the drones entered the capital in waves, coming from various directions. The air alert lasted more than three hours,” the statement added.

“Nearly two dozen enemy devices were detected and destroyed by our defense forces and assets in the airspace around Kiev.”

“There is no information about victims or damages so far”, concludes the note.
