Beatles on TikTok: generation Z is moved by the release of 'Now and Then'

On TikTok, generation Z who are fans of the Beatles shared the excitement of hearing a new song by the band for the first time. 'Now and Then' was released this Thursday, November 2nd, and was created from a recording by John Lennon with adjustments made with the help of artificial intelligence.

In just one day, the music 'Now and Then' has already been used in more than 2.300 videos on TikTok. On the social network, users express their enthusiasm, happiness and emotion when listening to the song.

The composition was originally a demo that Lennon recorded in the late 1970s. The recording was on a set of tapes that were passed from Yoko Ono, Lennon's widow, to McCartney in 1994. Now, with the help of AI, it is a complete recording with contributions from Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison (who died in 2001).
